Who is Community Carey?

Height…Small enough to hug a child; big enough to shoulder the weight of the entire community

 

Weight…Light-hearted and strong willed 

 

Resides…In the heart of our caring community

 

History…Community Carey is the unmistakable United Way logo brought to life.  The logo consists of three elements:  an outstretched hand that touches the lives of people in need; a human figure with arms wide open to welcome those in need of help; and the rainbow of promise that appears after the storm.

 

Favorite Foods…Artichoke hearts; chocolate kisses; soul food; care-ot cake

 

Pet Peeves…Frowns; narrow doorways

 

Goals…To bring a smile to as many people as possible; to greet everyone with a hug; to shake millions of hands in a gesture of gratitude for helping our community through United Way

 

Vacation Spot…The Care-ibbean

 

Hobbies…Attending special events; guest appearances; United Way campaign kick-offs; parades
