Why Should You Donate To United Way?
We all want to make a difference. We all want to live and work in a
community that is safe, clean and healthy. That's why United Way is
here. When you give to United Way, you invest in programs that have a
lasting impact, not only on those who directly benefit, but also on our
community as a whole. In essence, your donation makes life better for
everyone in our community - including you.
Many people do not know how much the organizations that benefit from United
Way have to offer families and individuals that live here in our
community. Be sure to check the Directory of
Solutions for agencies that might be of assistance to you now or in the
future.
United Way of Hunterdon County's Community
Fund supports a wide network of organizations. These
agencies, both large and small, are all very much needed in the
community but may not have wide name recognition.
You make the most of your gift when you choose United Way's Community
Fund because:
 |
You are connected to an entire family of essential local
programs.
|
 |
Informed volunteers ensure that your hard-earned money is
used effectively.
|
 |
You help people who really need it!
|
Whether you donate through our residential or employee campaign, your
donation makes a difference. If you currently work for an organization
that does not have an employee campaign but would like more information on
starting one, please call (908) 782-3414 or contact us via email at campaigns@uwhunterdon.org
How Can You Leave a Legacy of Giving?
You can give the gift of a lifetime by making a planned giving donation to
United Way of Hunterdon County. A planned gift can endow your pledge and
ensure that your annual support will always be there for our community.
Planned giving can be made through bequests, marketable securities like stock
or bonds, life insurance, income generating trusts, and real
estate. Your gift will be a sound investment that benefits you
and your family today, and will serve those in need in our community in the
future. If you are considering leaving a meaningful legacy to the
community while taking care of those who are most important to you, please
contact the United Way of Hunterdon County at (908) 782-3414 or via email at info@uwhunterdon.org
for more information.
