Money Management for Everyday Living

Part of United Way of Hunterdon County's Financial Fitness series.

United Way of Hunterdon County is hosting a Money Management for Everyday Living workshop on Wednesday, May 23 from 6pm to 9pm (pizza at 5:30). Before jumping into the summer season, come get your money management skills back in shape.

Participants will learn more about setting personal financial goals, balancing debt reduction, spending and other tools to achieve those goals and strategies for controlling debt and improving credit score. Ways to avoid scams and identity theft also will be highlighted.

This free workshop is being taught by Central Jersey Housing Resource Center, non-profit that has been helping clients for over 28 years and is part of United Way of Hunterdon County’s Financial Fitness Workshop Series.

The workshops series is part of Hunterdon Thrive financial stability initiative, which provides support to households struggling financially. :In the words of one client who is enrolled in United Way’s free financial coaching program after attending the workshop, “This was definitely an awakening moment that I needed to plan better for an optimistic future.”

The Money Management for Everyday Living Workshop will be held on Wednesday, May 23 at 6pm at the Community Volunteer Center, 20 Fulper Road in Flemington. Pizza at 5:30; childcare available upon request. Registration required.
