Dear Friends, Family & Neighbors,
I hope you are having a safe and happy holiday season.
As most of you know a few years ago I got really into sneakers. This hobby turned into a business in which I buy and sell popular sneakers. I am very fortunate to be able to do this, and I realize I am in a position to help those not as fortunate.
I have recently joined forces with two community non-profits to achieve my goal of helping those less fortunate.
The first is United Way of Hunterdon County, and for anyone who would like to support my efforts through a financial donation, I request that you donate to them. United Way of Hunterdon County focuses on poverty prevention, financial empowerment, and advocacy to create positive change in my community. The have income support programs, as well as coaching and trainings in place to help those in our community struggling to get by, and who need our support. Many of these people are our front-line workers like cashiers, daycare workers, gas attendants, restaurant workers, or cleaning staff. We would all feel the impact of life without these workers. United Way supports them and empowers them to lead a thriving life. You can donate now! Please be sure to note that your donation is to support this fundraiser, so we can keep track of our progress!
I have also partnered organization @Soles4Souls I am launching a shoe drive to help Wear Out Poverty. Soles4Souls partners with children’s programs and schools, women’s shelters, and veterans’ organizations to get shoes to those who need them most. Soles4Souls accepts all types of footwear (cleats/boots/sandals/shoes/and of course sneakers), new or used. While collection may not be as easy during these times we are going through, that won’t stop us. Since I can’t drive yet, my parents and I are happy to come and pick up any donations, or we could organize a socially distanced drop off. I have created a g-mail account at email@example.com to make communication easy.
I am happy to answer any questions you may have at the above g-mail or by text/call at
(908) 246-5662. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and I hope you are able to help me make a difference. As someone at United Way recently shared with me, and I believe it to be true- Giving Feels Good!
Happy New Year!!
