Local Business Community Leadership Council (LBCLC)

Local Businesses play a critical role in maintaining a thriving local economy. Thank You for playing a role in our community. Our Local Business Community Leadership Council (LBCLC) is an important, growing family of donors, who are vital to helping us meet the needs of the community.
We’re igniting a social movement in our community by empowering people and businesses to unite to solve complex problems that affect us all, and to the common good of our community.

"I was familiar with the plight of ALICE – those who United Way has identified as Asset Limited Income Constrained and Employed – but I wasn’t aware of all the work the organization is leading to improve the financial stability of this segment of the community,” explains Rosanne DeTorres, founding member of the LBCLC. “Now I can raise awareness of the challenges ALICE faces and support programs like financial coaching, which helps individuals develop better financial skills and improve their financial situations.

Rosanne DeTorres, managing partner and co-founder of DeTorres & DeGeorge Family Law, is joined by four other founding members of LBCLC.
