Meet The Board

John Chieffo is the former Chief Financial Officer for the Individual Life Insurance business at Prudential Financial, which he joined in 1985 after graduating from New York University.

Bill worked for Merck & Co. for 36 years before retiring in 2017. He now spends his time volunteering in the community. He first began volunteering with United Way of Hunterdon County in 2017 as a VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) volunteer. His other volunteer roles include a Medicare counselor with Hunterdon County's State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP), helping local residents understand their Medicare options and make informed decisions about their healthcare coverage. He and his wife Paula have lived in Hunterdon County since 1992 and have three grown children. Staying involved in the community has always been important to Bill, and he enjoys using his experience and time to help others.

Alexis Kopcienski, Esq. is an Associate with Lyons and Company Law Firm. Her practice focuses on family and matrimonial law, real estate matters, and Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) representation. She is committed to supporting local initiatives and organizations that provide meaningful resources and services to individuals and families throughout the community. Alexis earned her Juris Doctor from Albany Law School, graduating magna cum laude in December 2021. During law school, she received high honors for her work with the Government Law Review, where she was selected for publication in the 2022 edition of the journal.

Christopher McDaniel is a VP/Branch Manager of First Bank in Flemington. He is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of the branch, and building strong relationships both with his customers and with the community. Chris also volunteers for Meals of Love at Beverly United Methodist Church, and is a member of the First Baptist Church of New Market.

Michael retired 10 years ago from ExxonMobil as an R&D Portfolio Manager after a successful 30-year career developing and commercializing process modeling and optimization technology for the refining business. Michael and his wife Helen have lived in Hunterdon County for almost 20 years, raised 4 daughters, and now have 3 grandchildren. Michael has been a VITA volunteer for 10 years, a member of the United Way of Hunterdon County Board of Directors for 7 years and has chaired the CRISP Committee for 5 years. He volunteers his time and talent to the local community to help those in need, provide resources and opportunities to succeed, and help build a more resilient community. Outside of his volunteer efforts, Michael enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with his family and friends.

Nancee W. Levin is the Founder and CEO of NWL Enterprises LLC, a management consulting firm providing organizational development, leadership, and executive coaching services to leaders in the humanitarian and international development sectors. With more than 30 years of experience in human capital management, coaching, and volunteer engagement, she is passionate about helping people and organizations navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and create meaningful impact. Nancee is honored to join on the United Way of Hunterdon County Board of Directors. Serving as a longtime volunteer with United Way, she has seen firsthand the difference it makes in the community and is inspired by its ability to bring people together, build partnerships, and create lasting change. Outside of work and volunteering, Nancee enjoys the gym, nature, motorcycles, and engaging in thought-provoking conversations.

Todd Spidare is a 15-year resident of Hunterdon County. After more than 25 years in sales and marketing in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries, he is now a local business owner and entrepreneur. Having supported United Way financially for many years, Todd is excited to have the opportunity to contribute his time, experience, and perspective as a member of the Board of Trustees. He looks forward to helping broaden United Way’s impact by connecting available resources with the individuals and families who can benefit from them. In his spare time, you are just as likely to find Todd slowing down on a hiking trail and enjoying the outdoors as you are to find him on a race track doing anything but slowing down.

Tori is a Client Advisor with CW Advisors with more than two decades of experience in wealth management. She serves on the Leadership Team and Advisor Innovations & Standards Committee, where she helps advance the firm's strategic initiatives and commitment to advisory excellence. She is passionate about empowering others through financial education and community service. She also volunteers with Savvy Ladies, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing women with access to free financial guidance and resources.
