Mental Health First Aid

Mental health challenges are increasingly impacting individuals and families across our community, yet many people don’t know how to recognize the signs or how to respond when someone is struggling. Mental Health First Aid equips everyday community members—parents, teachers, coaches, employers, and neighbors—with the knowledge and confidence to identify mental health concerns, offer initial support, and connect people to appropriate resources. By training individuals across Hunterdon County, United Way is helping build a more informed, compassionate community where people feel supported and no one has to face a mental health challenge alone.
