United Way of Hunterdon County offers free assistance with tax return preparation for low-to-moderate income Hunterdon County area residents. In 2023, 70 volunteers in our community helped to file 1,695 returns, resulting in more than $1.8 million in refunds to Hunterdon County residents and employees. Together, we ensure our hardworking neighbors who are in poverty or living paycheck to paycheck as ALICE (Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed) get back every dollar they are due - putting them on a path to financial stability.
As of January 29, 2024, we will have 2 ways for you to get your tax return prepared for FREE:
- In-person tax preparation, by appointment only in Flemington, Milford, Lambertville and Clinton. Call to schedule at 908-237-1689.
