As we approach the beginning of the 2021 school year, it's time to collect school supplies for children on the free and reduced lunch program in school districts within Hunterdon County. In previous years, we would host large collections and donor drives. However, our new normal has meant a shift in how we collect school supplies.
Rest assured that we are still collecting items, and we have a goal to collect and distribute supplies to at least 600 students in Hunterdon County. This includes items such as pencils, crayons, markers, earbuds, composition books, notebooks, folders, glue and similar. You can download our 2021 wish list here.
This brings us to you. In order to fulfill this year’s needs, we are requesting your assistance in the following ways:
- Purchase items from our wish list that ship directly to us:
- Host a donation drive to assist us in collecting supplies.
Please include a note with your online donation (or forward us your confirmation email) so that we can thank you for your generosity!
Donations are due by August 6th.
Items can be dropped off at the Volunteer Center from Monday through Thursday between 9 am to 4 pm or by appointment.
